Sheet Utilization.
Your part. Your sheet.
Upload a cut profile or flat STEP part. See how it fits on catalog stock—and how much of the sheet it uses.

01 / The part
Start with your outline.
Files are processed on this device. STEP supports a single flat, constant-thickness plate. For a bent part, upload its flat-pattern DXF.
Use an override only when the file units are missing or incorrect.
02 / The material
Choose your sheet.
03 / The layout
Leave room to cut.
Rotations are relative to the displayed flat outline. No mirroring or nesting inside holes. Working area is limited to the 120 × 60 in laser bed.

How to read this estimate
A layout estimate, not a production nest. Counts are the best layout found in a short search, not a guaranteed maximum. Cutting paths, lead-ins, clamps, grain requirements, small-feature limits, and shop review can change the final yield.
Area and allocation answer different questions. A part’s area percentage excludes its holes. In Fill one sheet mode, allocation is 1 ÷ parts per full sheet. In Requested quantity mode, it is full sheets needed ÷ parts ordered, including unused material on the final sheet. Apply that fraction to a sheet’s material cost only; cutting, handling, finishing, and other charges are separate.
Flat STEP only. The CAD reader checks for matching parallel faces and constant thickness. It does not unfold bends. Curves are approximated by line segments at a 0.025 mm chord tolerance, with 0.05 mm extra inter-part clearance for imported profiles. Inspect dimensions before use. The PDF records the sheet currently displayed and its estimate; it is a reference report, not an approved cutting file.
